Muker to Thwaite following the Pennine Way Path

At Kisdon Houses pick up the Pennine Way trail to Thwaite

Lots of people take the footpath from Muker over Kisdon Hill to Keld but the quieter, less used Pennine Way path (left at Kisdon Houses) in a wonderful walk.  Take in the marvellous views as you pass through a variety of terrain;  heather moors, pastures and meadows.  Stumble across the most picturesque Swaledale Cow Houses tucked in the hillsides and finish by strolling along Straw Beck through the meadows back to Muker village.  The whole walk is a delight.
